1985年北海道生まれ。京都芸大で木版画を専攻するも、従来の版表現をはみ出した奇天烈な活動で訝しがられる。大学院も落ちてフリーター道を歩み始めた矢先に、何かの間違いで岡本太郎現代芸術賞を受賞。以降、伝統的な木版画から、自身の身体を版として用いる破天荒なインスタレーション、また特技のランニングを活かした耐久系パフォーマンスに至るまで、支離滅裂な活動でもって美術家として延命中。
